Well, it was too hot to work outside today, so my buddy and I made another scrapbooking roadtrip. Found lots of cool new stuff! Now, to get it organized and put to use!

Well, I made a good dent in all my "spring" cleaning this week, so I think I might take tomorrow easy and do some cardmaking/scrapbooking! Plus, it's going to be 30 above so it might be a perfect day to hang out in my downstairs craftroom.

Well, now that I'm off school and on holidays I've decided it's time to get into some heavy duty house cleaning! Got some blinds cleaned and while hubby & I were hauling in a new book case for our son I managed to drag it over a couple of my toes tearing off some chunks of skin. I hope the rest of my cleaning is less disasterous or I might have to resort to alot of crafting, lol! I aim to get alot of it done before I go back to work, hopefully the end of August!

Here is a sample of a card that I recently finished. It's called a Trapeze card. I made it for the teacher that I worked for this past school year. The centre of the card is suspended to the edges with stitching thread. I also added some beads on the strings as well as a silk flower to the centre and stickers to the corners.
I'ld love to hear your comments

Hello and Welcome
Welcome to my very first blog. This is all new to me so please bear with me if I make a few blunders! Now, a bit about me. I'm married to my wonderful hubby and best friend and together we have 3 grown children; 2 daughters both married to wonderful young men that we are proud to call our son-in-laws. We also have a "Special" son who's Down's Syndrome. I have tried almost every craft that's come along; my current favorites are scrapbooking, cardmaking, papercrafts, crocheting, knitting, x-stitching and reading.
Today is Canada Day and hubby and I took in some Canada Day festivities in our area. Looking forward to the fireworks this evening.
I hope you enjoy visiting my blog and come back again soon.
